Brendan spent over a decade running a marketing agency before a pattern became impossible to ignore: small business owners were doing more marketing than ever and converting less than ever. Not because they lacked effort — but because activity and results had become completely disconnected.
He now runs Conversions Today, a 90-day Marketing Conversions Bootcamp that helps owner-operators stop doing random acts of marketing and start building systems that produce measurable sales. His clients are trades, consultants, professional services firms — people who are already busy marketing and can't figure out why it's not converting.
Brendan's approach is less "marketing guru," more seasoned co-pilot: he diagnoses what's broken, shows you where the revenue is leaking, and helps you fix it without starting from scratch.
Brendan is based in Sydney but has clients all over the globe. His favourite work thing to do is, run fortnightly live diagnostic session called Conversions.Live https://www.conversions.live/ where he works through real business problems on the spot — no slides, no theory.
In this episode of Better Business, Better Life, Debra Chantry-Taylor sits down with Brendan Lee, founder of Conversions Today, to uncover one of the biggest marketing mistake business owners make: building marketing around what they like, instead of what their customers actually need.
